Fast fashion is the mass intake of low-cost garments, garments that imitate designs and trends imposed by the main fashion houses in the world. The economic and ecological impact it generates is currently a topic of interest. In this research, it was proposed to analyze the consumption of fast fashion through people's knowledge of the different affordable alternatives in order to reduce the economic effects that their consumption causes. As a result, it was found that the study sample indicates that knowing about alternatives as regards as the consumption of fast fashion, doesn't affect consumption in this type of clothing, consequently it is recommended to implement new strategies in order to persuade this sector of the population. The disposition of people to stop consuming fast fashion is a social phenomenon that can't be measured quantitatively, this is how fuzzy logic is a useful tool to approach this study.
