Call for papers

The Editorial Board of Revista Internacional de Salarios Dignos (RISAD) invites students, researchers, academics and experts in employment issues to submit their research results for publication as articles or essays in issue number two of the year 2020 (July-December).

RISAD is a biannual, indexed scientific journal published by the Business School of La Salle Mexico University  through a collaboration multidisciplinary approach to the problems of the world of work. It is focused on the publication of research work that addresses in particular four Sustainable Development Objectives (ODS): Ending Poverty, Zero Hunger, Decent Work and Economic Growth and Reducing inequalities.

RISAD aims to respond to the need for intellectual production in the social sciences and particularly in the welfare of the world's workers in terms of disseminating knowledge scientific from critical and libertarian perspectives that strengthen human dignity.

RISAD accepts work on general themes related to the world of work and in particular aligned to the following thematic areas:
a) Salaries and Remuneration
b) Working conditions
c) Labor migration
d) Health and work

The works can be in the form of scientific articles (presentation of results of research) and academic essays (debate and theoretical argumentation); as well as reviews (notes briefs on some bibliographic publication).


SELECTION PROCESS
All papers are subjected to a peer review process under the double-blind method, after selection by the Editorial Committee who checks that the editorial standards described above are met in the INFORMATION FOR AUTHORS section. Reviews submitted will follow a process of selection that will respond to strict quality criteria.

In case the collaborations exceed the number of articles that are feasible to publish in the The next issue of the journal, the Editorial Board, will issue a final decision, regarding which articles will be published in this issue and which will be subject, under the acceptance of the author, to be published in subsequent issues.

EDITORIAL STANDARDS

The first page of the manuscript should contain the title page of the paper and the name complete of the author(s), as well as a brief curriculum vitae that should contain: grade Academic, Institution or dependence of adscription, lines of investigation. As well as the address postal address, e-mail address and telephone number of the correspondent.
In addition, a letter of contribution should be sent in a separate file explaining the participation of each author in the work and the unpublished nature of the work sent is declared and which is not in any other process of being judged by another magazine. It must be signed by all authors.

The specific characteristics of the format of the works can be found in the section INFORMATION FOR AUTHORS of the magazine Generally speaking, the length of the article or essay should be no less than five thousand words and no more than nine thousand words. They should be sent in Word format, letter size, with Times New Roman typography, 12 point and line spacing 1.5, 2.5 cm margins per side.

RISAD is a bilingual magazine that publishes all its issues both in English and Spanish. Therefore,articles are received in both languages, the translation is done by the Magazine, except when the author indicates that he wants to send the translated work. Invariably, the authors must present their papers with their titles, abstracts and keywords in both languages. 

Abstracts should be no longer than 250 words and should describe the problem, the objective, the methodology and the main result. The keywords should be between 4 and 6 with the code JEL (Journal Economic Literature).

The citation format must be in the APA 7th edition model. In the same way, graphics and tables should follow the same model. Tables: 10 point font, no vertical lines, title on the superior and continuous numbering in Arabic, font at the bottom. Graphics: Arabic numbering and title in the top, fountain at the bottom. Both tables and graphs should be sent separately in the original editable, preferably Excel, never as images. In the text you must indicate the place where they are inserted. The total space occupied by tables and graphs should not exceed 1/3 of the total of the extent of the work. 

Any controversy will be resolved by the Scientific Committee and the Editorial Board.
