Educate: Awakening to reality and time. A reflection from the Manuscripts of María Zambrano

This article asks what it means to educate in the manuscripts about philosophy and education of the spanish thinker Mar.a Zambrano. To clarify this question, it is proposed as an interpretative framework to read these manuscripts in the light of Zambrano’s investigations around a knowledge about the soul and dreams and time, which are part of a long-term reflection on the time of human life from the beginning to the end of her work. This shows, from the figure of awakening, that the act of educating has the task of serving the realization of human life and person.
