Two-faced historicism: between history and philosophy

This article works on definitions of historism and philosophy of History, their limits, purposes and circumstances, through the work of Ernst Troeltsch and, above all, his religious regards for the study of those concepts. In the second part, criticism towards historism is examined and how it has affected philosophy inasmuch as turning it into a historical discipline. Also a possible solution is presented
