Abstract

Abstract
This essay is a reflection on the relationship between univocity, which is rational, theoretical and methodical, and metaphor, which is based on free association allegorical. Univocity is a sign that describes and explains while the metaphor is a representation that goes from one sense to another that is figurative. Both are equally important in understanding the reality and in the creation of new ideas, voices and representations that enrich the language and their effort to understand, explain and approach the vastness of the universe.
