This article presents an exposition about the ideas of nature and the critique to anthropocentrism in Friedrich Nietzsche´s (1844-1900) work. In the first part, there is a revision of Nietzsche’s ideas on nature and their fundamental traits are highlighted. In order to develop what has been mentioned, the theories of the German philologist are opposed to the ones of Arthur Schopenhauer, by pointing out the differences and similarities between both thinkers. The second part develops the criticism made by Nietzsche to the fake notion of centrality or supremacy that humanity has over nature. Finally, further investigation lines are proposed on both subjects regarding technoscience related issues.
