5. Prepare your research data. Remember to deposit your data in an appropriate data repository, or format and submit it as Supporting Information. Be ready to provide a Data Availability Statement. Please read our policy about Data Availability.
6. Verify that your manuscript follows the appropriate reporting guidelines. Read more about recommended reporting guidelines for different study types: Human Subjects Research, Animal Research. Read our Best Practices in Research Reporting.
7. Prepare funding and competing statements. Please read all our policies about Disclosure of Funding Sources and Competing Interests.
8. Read the license agreement. This journal is published under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license. Under this license the authors make their articles legally available for reuse for virtually any purpose without permission or fees. The authors may published their manuscript in repositories or personal web page as long as the author and original source are properly cited. Please read our Licenses and Copyright policy.
