Main Article Content
Abstract
Virtual education in Mexico does not officially exist as a form of education at higher education, which means that in order to let it function it is submitted to the regulations designed for orthodoxy face mode of education, despite the technological nature of its operation makes it different in administrative needs and organizational structure. This conceptual gap is due to the fact that the country's educational authorities still regard as valid the paradigm that built the legal framework that provides the educative system with three modalities for teaching, the schooled, the unschooled and the mixed. This document presents a proposal to change the paradigm of virtuality in higher education and a new classification of educative modalities according to the actual reality that is shown on the evolution of the market.
