Modelo Centinela: punta de lanza para la construccion de un marco informativo sobre el Covid-19

Abstract

This article seeks to show the process of building a frame on the Sentinel Model in three newspapers in Mexico City. He reviews the postulates of the framing theory, taken from interactionist sociology to the study of journalistic information. Carry out a discourse analysis to see determine the construction process of the "Sentinel Model" framework. The conclusions are oriented to explain the reasons for their attachment in the press and the consequent problems in the construction of an alternative framework to explain the advance of Covid-19 in Mexico.
