El trasfondo ideológico de la iniciativa One Belt, One Road: una agenda geopolítica en construcción

Resumen

Los esfuerzos que mantiene la visión del Presidente Xi Jin Ping para legitimar el resurgimiento de la República Popular China como uno de los principales polos de poder dentro de la sociedad internacional; se ha materializado, desde 20213, en la iniciativa denominada como One Belt One Road. La región del Medio Oriente, se inserta dentro de este macroproyecto como un elemento clave en la construcción de toda una red logística vital capaz de garantizar factores estratégicos para su comercio e industria. Las estrategias derivadas de esta plataforma no sólo parten de vínculos sociales y culturales entre China y Medio Oriente sino que construyen esquemas bajo ámbitos no confrontativos que han hecho destacar su diplomacia a pesar de las tensiones que ha traído el siglo XXI para la región.

The efforts of President Xi Jinping's vision to legitimize the resurgence of the People's Republic of China as one of the main poles of power within international society has materialized, since 2013, in the initiative known as One Belt One Road. The Middle East is included in the macro-project as a key element in the construction of an entire vital logistics network, an element to guarantee the strategic factors for its national trade and industry. The strategies derived from this platform are based on social and cultural ties between China and the Middle East, and are developed in non-confrontational areas, highlighting its diplomatic work in the face of the tensions that the 21st century has brought to the region.
