The Revista del Centro de Investigación de la Universidad La Salle requires that all data used in the research submitted for publication be available without access restrictions. The objective of this policy is to promote scientific development, ensure that research can be validated, replicated, analyzed by other researchers.

When a manuscript is sent through the online submission system, the authors must provide a Data Availability statement where they declare that all the data used in the research will be available and without access restrictions. In case the authors have not generated their own data but obtained from another source, the source should be cited in an appropriate manner and in the Data Availability statement indicate how to contact the owners of the information. If the authors have doubts or difficulties with this policy, they can contact the journal.

A refusal to share the data under this policy could cause the manuscript to be rejected. Once the manuscript has been accepted, this declaration will be included in the final version of the article. If access to the data is restricted after the publication, the Revista del Centro de Investigación de la Universidad La Salle reserves the right to contact the authors for its correction, and in extreme cases the retract the published article.

All data must be published in a public repository, if they were not submitted as supporting information along with the manuscript. The declaration of Availability of Data must indicate the repositories where the data are deposited.

The data can also be “upon request”. For this, in the declaration of Data Availability it must be indicated that the data will be available upon request indicating the procedure to obtain the data. They must also include the reasons why the data is not public.
