Abstract

This paper presents the results obtained from the implementation of a feedback model optimized by means of artificial intelligence (AI) tools, with the purpose of enhancing the specialized training of Centro Nacional de Control de Energía (CENACE) operators, who are responsible for the operation and control of the National Power System in Mexico. The research was developed under a mixed approach methodology, under which the results of evaluation instruments, feedback sessions and personal interviews applied to 23 operators of the first operative level were analyzed.

The results show that the integration of AI enhances the effectiveness of feedback, providing the instructor with a support tool that allows personalizing and improving the specialized training process in the simulator, generating precise and effective recommendations. This ensures that, in a disturbance in the power system, the operator has solid preparation and is capable of size the magnitude of any event, perform a comprehensive analysis and execute the necessary control actions, considering all the elements involved and the relevance of the systems with which he interacts.
