Abstract
In recent years, technological changes have been crucial for economic development worldwide, the objective of this research is to determine the effect of the acceptance of information technologies on the competitive advantage of sugar mills, the analysis was carried out through the technical model of structural equations with partial least squares to 206 people in the managerial field, where a positive and significant influence was found in most of the relationships raised. A limitation that was presented was the collection of data in times of pandemic, in terms of originality it is commented that the behavior of users was studied in a situation where technological adoption was implemented in the context of sugar mills. These results can be used to design information technology implementation strategies, emphasizing the utility they represent for their users.
