Abstract

Sustainable Development through the organization must consider social, economic and ecological aspects, but the social aspect has been often neglected. We ponder whether being in an organization may have an effect in the way people rate their happiness or not. We measure happiness with a Scale of Happiness (Escala de Felicidad) which uses 27 Likert type items with five alternatives. To ensure that we had a large sample of people with similar periods of exposure to the organization we sampled 419 students from Universidad Tecnológica de San Juan del Río.
